Shallow-water finesse presentation
Work it slowly around riprap, docks and grass edges where a smaller baitfish profile suits the conditions. Its slow-sinking behavior allows the bait to sink during a pause; adjust the retrieve to the depth and cover.
Suggested setup: 8-10 lb fluorocarbon, a 7-foot or longer medium crankbait rod, and a 5:1 to 6.5:1 baitcasting reel. A spinning setup is another option.
