How to rig the Pippin8'r

Fish the Pippin8'r on a Texas rig or shaky head to present the worm along the bottom while its buoyant tail rises above the weighted end. Carolina and wacky rigs are other presentation options.

For a specific example, our Lake June in Winter fishing guide describes Texas-rigging the Pippin8'r with a 3/16-ounce tungsten weight and a 5/0 2X EWG hook, then dragging it or moving the head along the bottom. The report discusses Plum Apple and Watermelon Red Flake. Use it as a fishing example when planning your own setup.
